Several Ways to Die Trying
I bought myself a new thermal paste from DeepCool called Z3. I think it’s the cheapest of the bunch from DC. I’m going to replace my previous unknown milky thermal paste with the Z3 to test if a significant change in temps can be acquired.

Love Vigilantes
I tried the DualView feature of Nvidia or Windows (whichever bleh) where you can do different shit using two monitors at the same time, and found it very useful. Especially in programming where you can just open and switch among a billion tabs with just a swift head movement. I can now watch two movies at the same time. Or play LOTRO while browsing the net. Or

No More AMD vs Intel?
I’ve read articles about AMD quitting the competition against Intel on consumer processors. Too bad prices will surely rise because of this. Fuu.

You liked bus rides, I remember that much. I thought you were nuts when you first told me that, all economic reasons aside, you preferred riding buses to taking taxis. I chalked it up to your sheltered upbringing- your overly protective parents had not allowed you to take public transportation…

Got the shock of my life when hard disk drive (HDD) prices SUDDENLY doubled; from PhP 1900 to 3800!!! They (the internet) said the rise of prices was caused by the massive floods in Malaysia and Thailand which houses the production of hdds (Seagate, Western Digital, etc). What’s happening to the world?!

The Domestic Fucker Family
Two days ago I started to use Gmail’s new look. It’s kind of loose, modern, and customizable(?word). It seems like they adapted the styles of social networking sites.

Air The Enlightenment
I downloaded a 1080p music video from Youtube. The video was great, H264 mp4, but the audio was horrible, 150kbps AAC by some google encoder. There was this hissing sound with the music or like a degraded static sound. Basta pakshet.   Edit 11/6: I found out that the problem was the audio filter of MPC-HC (150kbps AAC should be very nice so I tried with another player and it was all good). The...

Monitored my temps while playing LOTRO at 1280x1024 reso and at high graphics settings. Proc went as much as 55C from 49C and my video card got to a peak 70C from 49C idle. I can’t seem to find a way of controlling the vga’s fan which is stuck at 40% its max rpm. Oh well. Soon.

Like I Love You
Yeah, so I suddenly had the urge to check my Musika folder and found 35 gigs of neatly organized music of around 200 artists. And I still have unsorted files somewhere in my compie plus burned CD’s and DVD’s of others. So, yeah.

Still Fly (Big Tymers)
PCSX2 0.9.8 is the latest version of this amazing Playstation 2 emulator. With a mid-end rig, you can play your PS2 games in PC and Linux. Nice. Don’t forget to use the new SPU2-X 2.0 sound plugin (Hmm it could be the default for a new emu download). Anyway, I noticed a significant improvement (smoother) since 0.9.7 when I played FFX. xD
